The Taganrog State University of Radio Engineering is one of the leading engineering training facilities in Russia. The University was established in 1952 in Taganrog, an industrial, commerce and port city on the south of Russia.
Taganrog State University of Radio Engineering is a young, rather small, fast developing and very specialized institution of higher education. Academic and research activities are concentrated in Telecommunication, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and related areas.
The University Comprises six colleges, Research Institute of Multiprocessing Computing Systems, two Design Bureaus and the experimental plant. The total enrolment is over 5000. The University has about 600 faculty members and near 2500 research assistants, staff members and other employees.
